A workshop designed with the aim of articulating the logic of sharing within social networks through activities involving colorful wires and lots of fun!
WHO: Kids aged 6-12
WHEN: Tuesday-Saturday 10.00-18.00
Many young people are using social networks to share information and photos with their friends. How does this connection work and how is this information distributed? Through a physical experience the workshop ENTANGLED IN THE NET tries to lay bare the logic that underpins all social networks. During the workshop activities, long colored wires become physical symbols of the connections that exist between people. In bonding with each other based on common interests, social connections and group affiliations, the participants will build a huge spider web in which they find themselves not only caught in the virtual net, but connected through real life circumstances.
