Workshop for middle school made ​​during the exhibition Manipulating Reality. How images redefine the world (September 25th, 2009 – January 17th, 2010).
The workshop included a reading activity and image interpretation excercise to understand how the media tells us about the world.

Today’s society overflows with different types of images running through diverse channels of communication: film, television, press, digital photography, web world. But how do we interpret this constant stream of visual information? 
Through reading exercises relating to the exhibition’s artworks, students will understand how images or print advertising are constructed artificially.
 During the workshop students create a television news report that is reflective of one of the video and sound installations in the exhibition.
In capturing the intent of this artist, the students are assigned to construct varying skits to provide a storyline for the videos. Their personal interpretations will emerge from their unique visions of what lies behind a moving image.
