MANDRAKE

Almost all of the specialized press has hailed Zarastro, the debut album of the Livorno band MANDRAKE: Rumore, Rockit, Sentireascoltare and others still, agree in defining the band’s sound as mature, exceptionally well written and technically flawless. True pop auteurs, they shuffle the deck with folk, a nod to classical (the ever-present violin) and a look toward the rest of the world, expressing themselves in English.
Currently the band is working on their second album whose release is planned for 2014.

The second Thursday of each month from 19:30 to 22:00, the courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi comes alive with the live music of the show Acoustic Carpet, organized in collaboration with Le Aspen Club, and the activities
of Creative in the courtyard to give shape to your ideas and create objects to share with others.
