After a car accident the movie producer James Ballard is hospitalized in a clinic, assisted by his wife Catherine. There he meets Helen Remington and Vaughan, a strange character deeply attracted by cars whose main occupation is to reproduce in the first person and in detail incidents of famous people such as James Dean and Jayne Mansfield. The accident and the arrival of Vaughan in the lives of the protagonists mark their involvement in a series of dangerous and perverse events that will be dramatic.
