To travel means to cross boundaries, to cross geographical barriers. Bernardo Giorgi has made traveling a tool for his work through which to investigate the concept of the “boundary” in the broadest sense. Where does one culture end and another begins? The maps that fill Giorgi’s studio are starting points for research where the abstract becomes more concrete, and is capable of activating projects for participation and exchange between people of different cities and nations.
