Take Part in the Project MY IDEA OF BEAUTY

What is beauty? Through the ages people have repeatedly attempted to define this term, highlighting its close connection to specific cultural contexts. To speak of beauty is to speak of a single individual who experiences an event and who expresses a judgment, but it also means opening oneself up and putting oneself in contact with the outside world and with others.

As a supplementary project accompanying the exhibition An Idea of Beauty, we propose a question: What is your idea of beauty?

Send us a picture and a brief comment to share your point of view with us. It can be a place, an object, or even an abstract concept, a value, a virtue, that for you may be the very expression of beauty.

The image and the text that we receive will be used in a room of the exhibition of the CCC Strozzina, where you will find your contribution piece of  a large puzzle bringing together different perspectives, reflections and ideas.

INFORMATION:

• The image file, preferably in .jpg format, should not be less than 500 Kb and no more than 2 Mb;
• The comment text should not exceed 600 characters, including spaces;
• Please specify whether you want to remain anonymous or otherwise specify your first and last name and your profession (which will be published at the end of the text).

Please note that, by sending e-mail materials, the participant authorizes the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi to reproduce the images and the texts and grants any rights for which the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi will not be liable in any way. Note also that the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi acquires all rights to the images and texts for the promotion of the project “My Idea of ​​Beauty.”  No payment / compensation shall be payable for use including in the future by the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi of said materials.
