SPECIAL EVENT / New themes and forms of American art from the ’70s to 2000

A chance to learn more about the artists who have marked the last forty years of American art with three young contemporary art critics.

During the event will be also presented the magazine Senzacornice.
Senzacornice is a three-month online magazine for contemporary art and criticism. The project was born in November 2011, when Alessandra Acocella and Caterina Toschi founded the homonymous Cultural Association. The aim is to offer an officially registered platform for publication of essays written by young scholars, and also to present the work of emerging artists.

Con la grande mostra dedicata ad Ai Weiwei (23 settembre 2016-22 gennaio 2017) per la prima volta Palazzo Strozzi diventa uno spazio espositivo unitario che comprende facciata, Cortile, Piano Nobile e Strozzina.
