After a meek and frustrated worker loses all the objects with which he surrounded himself to create the illusion of not being alone, he meets a mysterious businessman who convinces him to join a Fight Club, an illegal night club whose members “beat blood” a few times a week. Based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, “The things you used to own end up owning you,” the fourth film by David Fincher is an explicit criticism of the American lifestyle, which ranks as an expression of discomfort and consumerism of contemporary society. A timeless cult movie, full the history of contemporary American cinema.
